The desire for an increase is unquestionably high, but many who pray for and genuinely need an increase may not know that it is more of an obligation than it is a blessing.

A look at our key text, shows that the word 'should' implies that increase is an obligation we owe God, irrespective of how small we may presently appear today.

When God says your later end SHOULD greatly increase; it is because He has made every provision for it to greatly increase. As it is written,

"But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" (Prov. 4:18).

There are supernatural and natural deposits in you that aids increase. The word of God has gone ahead of you already.

Child of God, with all the investments of heaven upon your life - salvation, grace, anointing, blessings, etc., there is no way increase should not be expected of you. Wake up and embrace your responsibility of making sure God's expectation of increase in you is not disappointed.

A story was told of a boy that took piano lessons years after year. Once every year, he was required to participate in piano recital with all the other pupils. After three years, it seemed easier for him to play the recital (performance of music). He mounted the steps, set up his music. He played his two songs successfully and then sat down, next to his parents. When they got home, he told his mom, “Mom this year piano was smaller.” The mum replied , “No, it’s the same piano you played last year. You're bigger, you've grown!" By the end of this year, you will increase. You will be better. You will be bigger. The work of God will prosper in your hands.
